You only need $100 to open a Savers Club Certificate.
The term of the Certificate is one year.
You can deposit any amount of money anytime during the year.
At the end of the year interest is added at 4-5 times the rate of a standard savings account.
The account can be closed at any time, but interest is forfeited if it is closed before the one year term.
There are no partial withdrawals permitted. If you close your account before dividends are credited, your deposits will be paid, but you will not receive the accrued dividends. Your Club account will be assessed a fee of all earned interest if it is closed prior to maturity. Withdrawals for the purpose of closing on a home purchase are permitted without penalty.
