Small Business Financial Counselor and Trainer

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and experienced, with a background in business finance and two years to five years of similar or related experience.

The Small Business Financial Counselor and Trainer provides essential business training and consulting services to business clients and business loan applicants and supports the projects and activities of the Business CENTS program. The person reports to the Business CENTS Program Director. The successful candidate has a college degree, an understanding or direct experience in small business management, consulting and training experience, can work well with a team, has an interest in our community, and wants to work for a progressive organization.

While working at Alternatives Credit Union is at times demanding and fast paced, it is an exciting and rewarding place to work. Alternatives is a socially responsible community organization working to have a positive impact on the local community through its programs and policies. Many services are devised especially for low-income members and small businesses. Relations with members proceed on a personal and very friendly manner. Starting wage: $24,856 to $31,070, full time, benefit eligible

Benefit Package
(based on a 36.25-hour week)
18 days paid time off, 10 paid holidays, 4 days long term sick account, individual health insurance after three months (75% of individual premium), long-term disability after three months, group life insurance after three months, 401k after one year, employee assistance program.
