Apple Pay®
- Device Compatibility: Use on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.
- Setup: Add your card to the Wallet app and activate by calling 607-273-4611, option 1, then option 1 during business hours.
- How to Pay: Simply authenticate via Touch ID or double-click the Home button on locked iPhones.
Google Pay™
- Device Compatibility: Available for Android devices running Android 4.4 and above.
- Setup: Install the Google Pay app, add your Alternatives card, and activate by calling 607-273-4611, option 1, then option 1 during business hours.
- Usage: Pay at any store with the contactless symbol by unlocking your device and tapping the terminal.
Samsung Pay®
- Device Compatibility: Available on the latest Samsung devices.
- Setup: Load your cards in the app and activate by calling 607-273-4611, option 1, then option 1 during business hours.
- Usage: Swipe up from the bottom of your device screen, authenticate, and hold your device near the terminal.
Security: Payments are made using a unique transaction code—your card details are never shared.
Digital Wallet Terms and Conditions
By adding your Alternatives FCU debit or credit card (“Card”) to Apple Pay®, Google Pay™, Samsung Pay®, or another approved digital wallet, you agree to these Terms.
1. Other Agreements
Your card use in a Digital Wallet remains subject to your Membership and Account Agreement, Electronic Fund Transfers Agreement, Cardholder Agreements, Privacy Policy, and Fee Schedule. These control if there is a conflict.
2. Use of Digital Wallet
Eligible cards in good standing may be added. Transactions are treated as card transactions and subject to the same terms, conditions, and limits. Use of the Digital Wallet is also subject to third-party terms.
3. Security
You are responsible for safeguarding your device and credentials (including passcodes and biometrics) and must notify us promptly if compromised.
4. Transactions & Liability
Transactions made using your device or credentials are considered authorized unless otherwise provided by law. Unauthorized transaction rights and liability are governed by your Electronic Fund Transfers Agreement and Cardholder Agreement.
5. Fees
We do not charge Digital Wallet fees. Third parties may charge fees.
6. Third-Party Services
Digital Wallets are provided by third parties we do not control and are not responsible for.
7. Suspension or Removal
We may restrict or remove your card at any time. You may remove it through your device.
8. Privacy You authorize us to share information as needed to provide and secure Digital Wallet services. Our Privacy Policy applies.
9. Electronic Communication
You consent to receiving electronic communications related to Digital Wallet use.
10. Changes
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
