Alternatives is large enough to offer the benefits one would expect to find in this industry, yet still small enough that our employees are involved in the Credit Union’s successes on a personal level. We have a participatory staffing structure with monthly staff meetings. Departmental meetings foster transparency and open communication. In addition to first-year benefits, employees are encouraged to learn more about our programs through participation. While Alternatives offers Free Tax Preparation to wage earners based on annual income caps, all Alternatives employees are eligible to have their returns prepared for free. Alternatives employees and their family members may also attend our nine-week Money Wise personal financial management course at no cost.
Employees are also eligible for set discounted rates on specific loans.
