Business, Non-profit, and Organizations Resources
Alternatives values our relationships with local businesses, especially when the going gets tough. Throughout the pandemic, we have been a participating lender in the SBA Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). This program is part of the CARES Act which is designed to assist businesses retain their employees and keep money flowing through the local economy.
Please note: As of May 28, 2021, PPP funds have been exhausted and are no longer available.

COVID-19 Small Business Resiliency Loan Fund
The new collaborative Tompkins County/City of Ithaca Small Business Resilience Fund program has stopped accepting applications at this time due to volume of applications received. We will alert you if the program opens back up.
Special thanks to all of our Partners for making this happen: Tompkins County Development Corporation (TCDC), Ithaca Urban Renewal Agency (IURA), Cornell University, City of Ithaca, Tompkins County Area Development (TCAD), The Tompkins Chamber of Commerce, the Downtown Ithaca Alliance (DIA), and the Tompkins County Workforce Investment Board (TCWIB).
SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL)
Small Business Administration loans are available to small businesses and private nonprofits to help alleviate economic injury caused by COVID-19. The interest rate is 3.75% with a maximum term of 30 years, with exact terms determined on a case-by-case basis. No payments are due for the first 12 months. Applications go directly to the SBA.

We’re a cooperatively-owned Community Development Credit Union (a true designation of distinction, even among credit unions!). What we're doing:
Hand sanitizer will continue to be available.
There will be floor markers to help with social distancing in the lobby.
Plexiglass barriers are at each teller station as well as the front desk.
Our building is professionally cleaned and uses CDC recommended cleaning products.
Staff will continue to support you via telephone and online.
Online and mobile banking are available to check balances, make transfers, deposit checks, pay bills, and send secure messages regarding your account.
